Artist's Statement

            The landscape, whether in oil, acrylic, watercolour or collage, has it’s own  unique personality.  I enjoy meeting the challenge of creating a meaningful piece of art in an impressionistic way.

            Classes and workshops over the last 30 years from leading professional artists have formed my education.  Living abroad for many years has broadened my artistic view of the world.

            Teaching drawing and watercolour as well as giving workshops in various mediums reinforces the need to keep studying and practising.

            Membership in several art societies allows for collaboration and show opportunities in venues throughout Alberta.
